What happened to January 2011? It just flew by.  Oh well I know why I was busy with life working hard assessing lots of student films some good some great some not so great.  Lots of learning all round for me as well as the students.

Decided I needed to upgrade my digital life again in some form. I’m currently developing actually scratch that i am always developing how i communicate using the web. In communicate i mean use blogs, websites, social stuff in a better way. Also in a better looking way. This next month will look at the ways of tweeting in one place i think. So that facebook and twitter and all the rest do the same. when i want them to. I will also look at myspace as it’s becoming a bit of a digital memory one that was good though. It led on well from Napster to Friendster to myspace met lots of cool people through it and reconnected as well. I’m sad about the ways that it has lost it’s edge and place.

December and January is the time for when everything else gets forgotten more than others. I’m just not interested in making music or films or generally working in this period of the year. In fact I am starting to want to take a break from creative endeavors at this time of year.  Make it an official time for not working on new stuff etc.

What has happened? well I had a great music release on feedback loop label and also released to the internet Movement # 1 the first film in the Movement series.

I am now finally going to send out copies of my record ‘Homes’ to people i had promised it to and create some new music soon.

Films in the pipeline include Movement #3 a Film involving Ice Skating, another short for Epic 45. and a few other films that may pop up simple exercises with my fairly new Canon 5D Mark 2.

Back to the digital life ideas I’m looking for a decent web designer at the moment to put together a simple wordpress site for me this blog is good but a tad limiting. I want more visabilty for my films and music, from a site of mine.
